Established in 1973, The EGR group is a wholly Australian owned company whose extensive range of tanks ensures that they have a product to suit virtually all applications. EGR\'s tank sizes vary from the flexible Brick at 600Lt right through to 22,500Lt including round, squat, underdeck and slimline products.
EGR’s extensive range is designed and manufactured to meet the requirements of Australian Standard AS/NZS4766:2006 for polyethylene storage tanks and are backed by a 10 year warranty. All are engineered using computer aided design technology, including independent finite element analysis, ensuring long term structural integrity.
The entire EGR range is manufactured under strict quality control procedures with the latest state of the art rotational molding equipment. These machines are carefully programmed to repeatedly ensure wall thicknesses, which in turn provide adequate strength where it is needed most. Each product is moulded as a \"one piece\" tank ensuring maximum strength; they do not remove and screw back on lids.
To ensure EGR’s tanks cope in Australia\'s harsh climatic conditions, as well as being both safe and environmentally friendly, the range is manufactured using UV stabilised, heavy metal free and recyclable, and food grade polyethylene.
All EGR tanks are fitted as standard with a mosquito proof water inlet strainer, 90mm water overflow/s, either a 1\" or 2\" BSB brass outlets (please note that the 2\" brass outlet only applies to the 7000l and up water tanks) including additional fittings to enable taps to be directly installed at bucket heights.
